"HARLEY DAVIDISON VS. PONTIAC GRAND-AM"
Well as you can only imagine with a title like that it was last Friday when I got the brand new rubber on the front of "PUFF" and a quickie "AIR CLEANER" change out, there she sat all ready to go pick up the wife from her final work week day.
Keep in mind it was only moments from my departure of doing so, when I heard this "God" awful thunderous crash in the parking lot out in the front of my condo, when I went to the door only to find out that the neighbor girl ran my bike over.
Now to most people , this wouldn't seem like a big deal, but here in lies the rub.
That bike she just hit, was a one of a kind collectors edition "2003- 100th Anniversary Low Rider Harley Davidson". That being said, that is my baby, and I'm hugely depressed that my bike got crunched, I 'll never be able to replace the exhaust system, due to the fact that they don't make it anymore, which to me is simply maddening as this exhaust made this bike sound primo!
Not to mention I'll be waiting four months for a new rear fender.
I tell you today folk's, as "GOD" as my wittiness, this little girl looked as if she wanted to just die, and I had her laughing in about five minutes after starting to speaking with her, so as not to upset her any further, later when I spoke with her mother, she said that the little girl was constantly crying and wouldn't stop, she said she never saw the bike, I of course have another view of what happened, as I know these kids today are born into a hurry up society and none of them even have time to be kids anymore.
Today's kids are forced to get on the computers and the cells phones and keep up with the "JONE'S"
As soon as possible, as verse slowing them down a bit and letting them enjoy their lives.
24 hour eateries, 24 hour entertainment, Red-Bull, 5 Hour Energy Shots, Clubbing All night? This is what we've come too, Hurry up, hurry up , hurry up, heck, "Walmart" had "Christmas" stuff up before "Labor Day", "Halloween" candy wasn't even on the shelf yet?
This is what I'm saying, they push you through life so fast, that it speeds right on by ya. Slow down kids! Slow Down!
Most Importantly "WATCH OUT FOR MOTORCYCLES" Especially parked ones for crimny sakes.
