Fighting "OLDMAN" Winter just to RIDE!

Fighting "Old Man" Winter just to Ride!

Got through this morning ride in with no hassles of being "COLD" say per say .

Today's gear change up, took a little longer to get ready for departure, but yet knowing that I'd be a heck of a lot better protected against the elements as I so was not yesterday was such a calming feeling to me.

Today I added in my gear another slim Flannel Spec ops jacket I have and for my hands I added a pair of believe it or not "Rubber Gloves" bright freaking Orange too no less.

Here's why the additional gear was needed we left out yesterday at 6:15am, and it was 56 degree's, now riding you'd think that was pretty comfortable until you actually got going and the freezing cold air starts hitting you in places you'd wished you'd covered better.

Today's venture, started in 46 degrees a 10 degree difference from yesterday morning, and called for the extra protection because, frankly yesterday I froze my ass off riding, not really, but it took several hours for me to regain the feeling in my finger tips, and man that cold kicked my "Backs" ass as my back hates cold weather, but the wife needs to get to the mouse house some how and we only have one mode of transportation so we deal.
Crazy you say?, try this on:

Start with boxer briefs, add, warm thermal long johns top and bottoms, followed by Under armor long tall support socks, then add another layer of thermal protection this time military issued Kevlar thinsulate top and bottoms, then a full long sleeve Tactical 5.1 dress shirt, then 5.1 tact pants, followed by my Rain Pants bottoms only for extra wind protection, then my spec ops flannel jacket, then my hoody, then, my turtle neck protector, then my nyoprime face mask, then my goggles, then my helmet, then my riding jacket, then my gloves, then the big rubber gloves I had to put over my riding gloves to seal out the wind. Once you have all that on, your ready to ride in 46 degrees no worries, I stayed perfectly warm this morning, yesterday not so much.

Yes it gets cold here in Florida too, this is why I have all this gear, to stay protected.

Make it a Great Day Folk's!
