Just when you get to that perfect riding weather temperature outdoors, then comes allergy season. Please let me explain, outside right now it's 74 degrees, the bike loves and I mean loves that temp.
So cruising is a must when we hit those temps, and now those of us who are extreme allergy folks, well we take an extreme ass beating whilst out on the open roads right now because most, if not all, the fruit trees are being harvested right now.
Which means the new buds are forming and all the pollen gets skewn through the air, then to top that off with the early cold snaps we had, that triggered the "OAK TREES" down here to go into hibernation of sorts, and drop all their leaves at once, now that's not so bad, but then you have a week or two of perfect 70- 80 degree weather such as we just experience and bam, Oak tree less leaves start growing them back quick fast and in a hurry, so that's even triple the amount of pollen kicking ass outside right now, oh and did I fail to mention I have six of those said oak trees surrounding mine and my neighbors house?
Well if I did, then now you know.
So ya, I'm on Zyrtech, and Benedryl, talk about a sorry sight, watery eyes, beat red, running nose to beat all, sneezing till it hurts, oh Joy! I love allergy season, which down here seam's to be all year long of sorts, because something is always blooming down here, which is why I love it so much down here, because the scenery is always changing and in a constant start of flux which suits me just fine.
Make it a Great Day Folk's!
