"GUEST POST" MErry Christmas and Happy GUN CONTROL-CHICAGO

Merry Christmas and Happy Gun Control, Chicago

December 30, 2012

Chicago, one of America's most Nazified, anti-gun cities, has just recorded its 500th homicide. This is another banner year for Rahm Emanuel's tightly controlled non-gun "paradise." Breitbart recently reported that Chicago's own stats show that 440 school age children were shot in 2012 in Chicago's paradise. Breitbart's Awr Hawkins writes:
These numbers are well above those for the 2011-2012 school year, in which 319 Chicago students were wounded and another 24 were killed.
And yet, it has long been reported that the school where Rahm's children attend to their education has an armed security guard. Additionally, his children also have an armed escort to get them to and from school, just like those Hollywood celebrities who clamor for gun control while they enjoy full-time, armed bodyguards. And yet, the citizen gun control puppets continue to lap up the "wisdom" of their Masters and spew their hyper-emotional pleas to be controlled and enslaved.
Oh - and what appeared in the Chicago Tribune just a few days ago? An article by Laura Washington, written in the usual Oprahified manner, stating that gun control would be the best present ever for those of us who lack Chicago's glorious standards for paradise. In fact, Miss Laura openly calls for totalitarian decrees on the part of the Napoleonic branch of government:
Obama can do more. He can issue executive orders that will bypass the congressional sausage makers. He can deploy his White House bully pulpit to back similar state and local efforts.
If we don’t take action for the little angels of Sandy Hook, now, America will be forever haunted by the demons of gun violence.
In addition, Miss Laura also states that:
During the 2012 campaign, he avoided confrontations on gun control. When Obama was asked about gun control at a presidential debate, he punted. He was terrified of the People of the Gun, particularly in election swing states like Pennsylvania and Virginia.
People of the Gun? How cutesy. Actually, Obama and Rahm Emanuel both quickly realized, upon Obamanual's first election, that they could not win the federal battle for gun control because so many states of free and law-abiding peoples are still heroically immersed in a gun culture, unlike their murder city. Like all of us, politicians pick their battles, and after Obamanual realized this battle could not be won, Emanuel separated from Obama and took his schemes back to the city that gave us both of these megalomaniac buffoons. Sorry Chicago, better that you have Rahm all to yourselves rather than the rest of us.
Chicago, feel free to revel in your gun control authoritarianism and ignore your city's violence, murder, bloodshed, and perpetual terror, but you aren't going to import your political enslavement and perverted twist of logic to the rest of us anytime soon. Follow me on Twitter @karendecoster.

35 and counting!

Subject: 35 and counting
This, like many things, is just not the way it is supposed to be.
Children of congress member do not have to pay back their college student loans. How nice!
Monday on Fox news they learned that the staffers of Congress family members are exempt from having to pay back student loans. This will get national attention if other news networks will broadcast it. When you add this to the below, just where will all of it stop?
35 States file lawsuit against the Federal Government
Governors of 35 states have filed suit against the Federal Government for imposing unlawful burdens upon them. It only takes 38 (of the 50)
States to convene a Constitutional Convention.
This will take less than thirty seconds to read. If you agree, please pass it on.
This is an idea that we should address.
For too long we have been too complacent about the workings of Congress. Many citizens had no idea that members of Congress could retire with the same pay after only one term, that they specifically exempted themselves from many of the laws they have passed (such as being exempt from any fear of prosecution for sexual harassment) while ordinary citizens must live under those laws. The latest is to exempt themselves from the Healthcare Reform... in all of its forms. Somehow, that doesn't seem logical. We do not have an elite that is above the law. I truly don't care if they are Democrat, Republican, Independent or whatever. The self-serving must stop.
If each person that receives this will forward it on to 20 people, in three days, most people in The United States of America will have the message. This is one proposal that really should be passed around.
Proposed 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution: "Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators and/or Representatives; and, Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and/or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States ."
You are one of many now pass this on.

A Message about my "SUPERVISOR".

A Message about my "SUPERVISOR".

Although, most of the time this little guy known to most as my "Supervisor" can be found about two feet off me most of the time, and or on one of his night time treks, as we like to call them, he sure enough finds his way to watching all that I do during the course of the day, as if I need some kind of supervisor or something.
I've told my wife a dozen times, that the "Supervisor" loves to watch everything I do with such intent, as if he's double checking me and my work, it cracks me up.

Today was no different, I was going in and out of the house and finishing up some cabinetry work that I need to finish, so he made him self comfy near by and out like a light this time. Which was a total surprise.

Must be tough to be a "Cat", in many ways nice, I can imagine, but tough none the less.

Make it a Great Day !

Careful you may be being watched yourselves?

But then again, not from this guy as most of the time he can be found like this.
Out cold kitty!
Got to love the Harley Cat..

What? 9 Days Left it went by so fast didn't it?

What? 9 days left, it went by so fast didn't it?

Well Folk's call me a loon, or what you will, but I'd like to send a shout out to one very fine product out there if in fact we have only 9 days left here on this lovely rock called "EARTH".

That product is my: 2003 FXDL 100th Anniversary ,"HARLEY DAVIDSON" , "LOW -RIDER".

Currently, as of this morning, she turned 42K on the odometer and that meant we seen now more than 40K together since our union at 1760 miles.
If I had to do it all over again, I would of just stayed on a bike instead of giving it up to have kids, and waiting until they got older to go out and get another one, but the wait made the enjoyment factor only 10 times more.
So, if in fact we're only down to 9 days left according to the Mayan calender, then I'm very pleased to say I'll be riding it out everyday from here till eternity.

What A Great Ride It Has Been.....

Remembering "PEARL HARBOR"

Remembering "PEARL HARBOR"

Even though "Pearl Harbor" was 71 years ago today, it's still in my mind as a very hurtful attack and when I was growing up I heard the stories of how one of my uncles just made it off his ship that morning before the ship went down just minutes later, he lost all his friends in a blink of an eye, and even though my Uncle is no longer alive today I still honor his memory by lifting a glass at the table to night and wishing him and all his displaced shipmates a fond farewell.

I can remember going to Hawaii on our Honeymoon and we visited and took the memorial tour for the Pearl Harbor event, it was very Erie how things today remained the same , like history just stood still, those ships that sunk did so and they were left right there and sealed tight as a memorial to the ones who all lost their lives that day.Floating a wreath out to sea during the cruise in honor of our fallen hero's seemed to be and understatement that day, only because even though the year was 1984, there wasn't a dry eye on board that vessel that day we went out.

My heart goes out to those who lost family that day and really I hope our history lives on with the richness of events like this terrible tragedy and I hope never happen again. Whew I can dream, can't I?

May the sleeping Giant continue his sleep, and may everyone remember what happens when you cross lines that this giant doesn't like.

Make It A Great Day Folk's!
